Hand Screen Printed

Screen Printing is a in which mesh is used to transfer the ink onto a substrate or layer. The Ink is layered on the fabric or anything with the help of a blocking stencil. Hand Screen printing is a ancient technique that is used for textile printing. Hand screen printing is mad with just three materials that are ink, frame and stencil. Here the stencil is the negative of the image which we want to print and the stencil is made up of waterproof material. After fixing fabric on the frame and place the stencil, and after that ink will spread. This operation has been repeated several times if the artisans working with multi colors. In this case the fabric will dry between one color and the next one. The craftsman or artisans who make the press they must be familiar with the pigments used and the fabric, to obtain good result.

This process was called screen printing or silkscreen printing because silk was used in the process. Nowadays, synthetic threads are commonly used in the screen printing process. The mesh materials of nylon and stainless steel available to the screen printer.
